Terms and Conditions of L2TopZone

Welcome to L2TopZone - the premier Lineage 2 private server listing, voting, and promotional platform. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, voting on servers, or using any feature of L2TopZone, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of L2TopZone immediately.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use L2TopZone. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You may register using:

  • Email and password
  • Social login (Facebook, Google, Twitter, Microsoft, Discord)

3.2 Prohibited Accounts

You may NOT:

  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate voting or rankings
  • Use fake, disposable, or temporary email addresses
  • Impersonate other users or entities
  • Share accounts with other people

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Remain inactive for extended periods
  • Are involved in security breaches

4. Server Listings

4.1 Submitting Servers

Server owners may submit Lineage 2 private servers for listing, provided:

  • The server is a legitimate Lineage 2 private server
  • All information provided is accurate and not misleading
  • The server complies with applicable laws

4.2 Server Content

Server owners are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of server details (rates, chronicle, features)
  • Banner images and promotional content
  • Server availability and uptime
  • Any content linked from their listing

4.3 Prohibited Content

Servers will be removed if they contain or promote:

  • Illegal activities or content
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful software
  • Pornographic or explicit sexual content
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or violence
  • Fraudulent schemes or scams
  • Copyright infringement

4.4 Server Approval

All new servers are subject to review and approval by L2TopZ administrators. We reserve the right to reject any server without explanation.

5. Voting System

5.1 Voting Rules

  • Users may vote for each server once every 12 hours
  • Votes must be cast manually (no automated voting)
  • Voting rewards are determined by individual servers, not L2TopZ
  • Vote manipulation is strictly prohibited

5.2 Vote Fraud

The following activities constitute vote fraud:

  • Using VPNs, proxies, or bots to manipulate votes
  • Creating multiple accounts to vote repeatedly
  • Organizing vote exchanges or vote rings
  • Using automated scripts or tools

5.3 Consequences of Vote Fraud

Users or servers caught engaging in vote fraud will face:

  • Immediate vote ban
  • Account suspension or permanent ban
  • Server delisting
  • Forfeiture of premium services (no refunds)

6. Premium Services and Virtual Currency

6.1 Topzone Coins (TZC)

  • TZC is the virtual currency used on L2TopZ
  • TZC can be purchased through Stripe payments
  • TZC is non-refundable once purchased
  • TZC has no real-world monetary value outside L2TopZ
  • TZC cannot be transferred between users

6.2 Premium Listings

Premium services include:

  • Featured server placement with custom colors
  • Multiple world listings (1-9 worlds depending on plan)
  • Banner and text advertisements
  • Extended visibility periods

6.3 Pricing and Plans

  • Hobby: 1 world - 100 TZC/month
  • Medium: 3 worlds - 110 TZC/month
  • Large: 6 worlds - 125 TZC/month
  • Pro: 9 worlds - 145 TZC/month

Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

6.4 Premium Duration

  • Premium services are billed monthly (30 days)
  • Auto-renewal can be enabled or disabled in account settings
  • Premium status expires at the end of the paid period
  • No partial refunds for unused days

6.5 Refund Policy

All TZC purchases and premium services are non-refundable, except in cases of:

  • Technical errors resulting in duplicate charges
  • Service unavailability exceeding 7 consecutive days
  • Demonstrable platform malfunction

7. Advertising Services

7.1 Banner Ads

  • Dimensions: 468x60 pixels (standard) or 728x90 pixels (leaderboard)
  • Approved formats: JPG, PNG, GIF (non-animated)
  • Maximum file size: 500KB
  • Must comply with content guidelines

7.2 Text Ads

  • Maximum 150 characters
  • Must be relevant to Lineage 2 community
  • Subject to editorial approval

7.3 Ad Placement

  • Ad positions are not guaranteed and may rotate
  • Click-through rates are provided for informational purposes only
  • L2TopZ is not responsible for ad performance or conversion rates

8. User Conduct

8.1 Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

  • Spam, harass, or threaten other users
  • Post offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to hack, exploit, or abuse the platform
  • Scrape or data-mine L2TopZ content
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the platform
  • Use L2TopZ for commercial purposes without permission

8.2 Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of content you post
  • By posting, you grant L2TopZ a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content
  • You represent that you have the right to post all submitted content

9.1 L2TopZ Trademarks

"L2TopZone", logos, and design elements are trademarks of L2TopZone. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9.2 Lineage 2

Lineage 2 is a registered trademark of NCSOFT Corporation. L2TopZ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSOFT.

9.3 Third-Party Content

Server owners are responsible for ensuring they have rights to all content they upload.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service Availability

L2TopZ is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy of server information
  • Security of data transmission
  • Availability of listed servers

10.2 Third-Party Servers

L2TopZ is a listing platform only. We are NOT responsible for:

  • The operation, content, or legality of listed servers
  • Disputes between users and server owners
  • Lost accounts, items, or data on external servers
  • Reward fulfillment by server owners

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, L2TopZone and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the past 6 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless L2TopZone, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of L2TopZ services
  • Content you post or submit
  • Your interaction with other users or servers

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Romania.

12.2 Arbitration

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for:

  • Small claims court actions
  • Injunctive or equitable relief

12.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.

13. Changes to Terms

13.1 Modification Rights

L2TopZ reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon:

  • Posting updated Terms on the website
  • Updating the "Last Modified" date
  • Sending notification to registered users (for material changes)

13.2 Acceptance of Changes

Continued use of L2TopZone after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings.

14.2 By L2TopZ

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We cease operations

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to L2TopZ will be revoked
  • Your data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Outstanding TZC balances will be forfeited (no refunds)
  • Premium services will be cancelled immediately

15. Miscellaneous

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and L2TopZ.

15.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

15.3 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. L2TopZ may assign them to any successor or affiliate.
